I will be rating products according to three categories:
Cleanser - for detoxification, this means products with the word "cleaner" in the name. Many companies also have "cleanser" in their name, but it's used to describe the product's ingredients. I will list the ingredients in the order they appear on the labels and the category in which they belong. There is a lot of confusion about what a cleansing product is, because there are so many different types of cleansing products. Some are actually creams, and some are gels. Many purveyors of cleansers use oils as their base. Some have alcohol as an ingredient, some don't, and some don't contain any ingredient whatsoever. Some people use an alcohol based cleanser on a regular basis. I don't think it's any more healthy to use a product with an alcohol base that will dissolve in water to clean your skin than if you used a regular cleanser without an alcohol base.
Some people also use a cleanser as a shampoo. I would prefer not to do that. It's not really a good use of a cleanser. Some people have reported using a shampoo like this on their skin. I don't know if it's beneficial or not, and it definitely doesn't help the skin. Some people use a cleanser with a lot of active ingredients.
